Sensei Andrew
A native of San Diego with over ten years of martial arts training, Sensei Andrew initially attended college to sharpen his natural gift for wood working. With the impressive ability to design and build custom made guitars, a talent he continues to expand upon, Sensei Andrew decided to utilize his experience in Shaolin Kempo in a more permanent way, joining the Team Focus Academy of Martial Arts Instruction and Management in 2013.
Upon graduating, Sensei Andrew became a Chief Instructor of a local USSD school until he found his home with USSD Team Focus in April 2016. With his artistic acumen, the discipline of a dedicated student, and the knowledge of professional instruction and recent achievement of Second Degree Black Belt at USSD Corporate Headquarters, Sensei Andrew is excited to be a part of Team Focus and teach the students of the Scripps Ranch School as the Chief Instructor. He feels that “everyday is something new to discover, not only for the students but for an instructor as well. It is so important to learn something unique on a regular basis, but even more so to have fun while you are doing it.”
